Munich Digitization Center

The Munich Digitization Center ( MDZ) is a device for digitization, online publication and long term archiving of the holdings of the Bavarian State Library and other memory organizations. It was founded in 1997 and is headed by Markus Brantl. Organizationally, it is the department assigned to inventory build-up and development of the Bavarian State Library.
