Dobrova - Polhov Gradec ( German: Dobrawa - Billichgrätz ) is a municipality in Upper Carniola in Slovenia.

In the villages and hamlets consisting of 33 total municipality 7,195 people live. The places Dobrova (911 inhabitants) and Polhov Gradec (613 inhabitants) are the two largest towns in the surrounding community. Dobrova is the center. The area lies between Ljubljana and the Central Mountains Polhov Gradec.

The name of the village Dobrova received according to the tradition of a 1000 year old oak tree that was like 1888.

The area around Polhov Gradec ( German: Billichgrätz ) was settled very early, prove what Celtic and Roman finds. Particularly worth seeing is the Polhov Gradec castle. Today it houses a museum.
