Muping District

The municipality Muping (Chinese牟平 区) is a municipality in east China's Shandong Province, which belongs to the administrative territory of the prefecture-level city of Yantai. It has an area of 1588.45 km ² and has 475,000 inhabitants ( 2001). Seat of government is the road district Ninghai (宁海 街道).
