Muscat Governorate

The government Muscat (Arabic محافظة مسقط, DMG Muhafazat Masqat ) is a province in the northeast of the Sultanate of Oman. The capital of the governorate is Muscat.

Since 2011, the sultanate in eleven governorates - administrative areas - divided. One of these is the province Muscat, which is in turn since 2006 from six Wilayat:
