Matthias Reichel from music portal CDStarts certified the album " more charm and life than any single publication of an American Idol winner ."

Laut.de summed up against the fact that " My Cassette Player certainly more pleasant than all of Silvermoon and I I " is. "Above all is now clear, however, that Raab's own composition Love Me compared to Satellite is the better song and the catchy and playful Bee would have been the better Euro Vision Song Contest entry". The album was "not really crazy", but entertaining " and above all, a true- Raab - production: Merry Mitsumm pop with glockenspiel ( Love Me, You Can not Stop Me), a shovel Mutzke - mid-tempo Soul ( Touch a New Day), flawless 60s beats with handclaps ( Bee) and of course, two well-known cover versions (Jason Mrazs Mr. Curiosity, Adele My Same ) ".
