Naâma Province

The Naama Province (Arabic ولاية النعامة, DMG Wilāyat to -Na ʿ ama) is a province ( wilaya ) in western Algeria.

The province is located at the Moroccan border and covers an area of ​​33,852 km2.

With 204,000 inhabitants ( 2006 estimate ), it is very sparsely populated, the population density is only about 6 people per square kilometer.

The provincial capital is also called Naamah.
