Nadi FC

Nadi FC is a football club based in Nadi, a city on Viti Levu, the main island of the State of Fiji. The home ground of the association is the Prince Charles Stadium.

History

With the founding of the Indian Nadi Soccer Association in 1937 and the Nadi Football Club was launched. The regional competition was held between teams from Koronubu, Sabeto, Bhartiya and Vutualevu. Nadi FC 1939 played for the first time in the Inter- District Championship against Nadroga in the first round (2-0). In the semifinals, however, they lost against Rewa FC from Nausori 0-2.

Nadi is an eight-time Fijian football champions, they won the last two Inter- District Finals in 1998 and 1999. Through the last title to Nadi FC could qualify for the OFC Champions Cup.

OFC Champions Cup 1999
