Nahwa

Nahwa (Arabic النحوة, DMG to - Naḥwa ) is a village in the UAE in the Emirate of Sharjah. The special feature of Nahwa is that the area is completely surrounded by the Omani territory of Madha, which in turn is surrounded by the UAE. Thus Nahwa is one of the few enclaves of second order ( similar boundaries usually found in the Indo - Bangladeshi enclaves or Baarle -Nassau ).

Nahwa, about 8 km Located on a unpaved road west of New Madha is surrounded by majestic mountains, has its own clinic, a modern police station and consists of about 40 houses. Nahwa is divided into an old and a new Nahwa Nahwa and seems better developed in spite of the unfavorable Umschlossenheit strategically and to be more affluent than the relatively empty acting Omani territory of Madha. The more western location Alt- Nahwa is accessible and clearly poorer only a poor, dirty road.
