Naiara Egozkue Extremado ( born October 21, 1983 in Pamplona ) is a Spanish handball player who belonged to the squad of the Spanish national team.
Career
Naiara Egozkue began in 1994, playing handball at the Spanish club Beti Onak Villava. Ten years later, she took the Spanish first division side SD Itxako under contract. With Itxako the winger 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 won the championship, the Spanish Cup in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and the EHF Cup in 2009. Moreover, it was 2008 at the finals of the EHF Cup in 2011 and the final of the EHF Champions League. Since the 2012/13 season it runs on for the German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Naiara Egozkue participated with the Spanish selection in the World Championship 2013 in Serbia. During the tournament, she scored five goals in six games.
