Nasser Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah

Nasir al - Muhammad al -Ahmad al - Jabir al- Sabah (Arabic ناصر المحمد الأحمد الصباح, DMG Nasir al - Muhammad al - Ahmad aṣ -Sabah; * 1940 ) was from 2006 to 2011, the Prime Minister of Kuwait. He is a nephew of Emir Sabah al -Ahmad al - Jabir al- Sabah.

Life

Nasir studied at the University of Geneva ( Switzerland ) with degree in Political Science and Economics. Before he became prime minister, he was Ambassador to Iran and Afghanistan, Minister of Information, Social Affairs and Labour Minister, Foreign Minister and Minister of the Royal Court.

He was appointed on 7 February 2006 by Emir Sheikh Sabah al -Ahmad al - Jabir al- Sabah.

16 November 2011 demonstration against Nasir took place in Kuwait City one, led by the deputy Mussalam al - Barrack instead. He was accused not to do anything against corruption in Kuwait. After some forced their way into Parliament, but moved to the singing of the national anthem again. Trying to pull the residence of Nasir, was prevented by the police with baton use.
