Wet Reith is a municipality with 2082 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Imst ( Imst district court ) of the federal state of Tyrol ( Austria ).

Geography
Wet Reith is located at the beginning of the Gurgltal on the busy route from the Fern Pass to Imst ( former Via Claudia Augusta). This also opens the old salt road over the Holzleitensattel and the Mieminger plateau after Telfs. The Fern Pass route should be developed through projects such as the Tschirganttunnel on.

Dormitz, a district of Nassereith was first mentioned in 1150. The hermitage Fernstein was first mentioned in 1288 and was the former customs station on Fernpassstraße. The Fernstein, which is privately owned, is a popular dive site. Not far away are the Samerangersee and Schanzlsee. Especially popular destination is located directly behind the parish church of Nassereither lake.

Customs
The Schellerlaufen, one of the most important Tyrolean carnival customs held every three years in Nassereith instead, most recently in 2013. The main characters are the beautiful train with Sweepers, Roller and Scheller, the bear with bear- and bear Pfeifer, witches and Karrner. The religious life
The processions in Nassereith among the most beautiful in the whole of Tyrol. Many houses are decorated with the so-called " Majelen " fresh deciduous and coniferous trees along the procession route.
