Nastasia Noens

Nastasia Noens ( born September 12, 1988 in Nice) is a French alpine skier. Your specialist discipline is the slalom. Since 2009 she has been on the A-team of the French Ski Federation.

Biography

Your first FIS races contested Noens in December 2003. In the European Cup they started for the first time in January 2005. Your best result is a third place in the slalom Candanchú on 22 February 2008. Few days later, she won the Junior World Championships 2008 bronze medal in Slalom.

Your first start in the World Cup had Noens on 11 November 2006 at the slalom in Levi. She reached rank 26 and got straight away their first World Cup points. Thereafter, however, it was not until 30 January 2009 until she again won the slalom in Garmisch -Partenkirchen with rank 21 World Cup points. This result could be repeated in the slalom in Ofterschwang on 7 March. At the 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isere they reached in the slalom as the best French 13th place. At the European Indoor Championships on November 7, 2009 in the French Amneville Noens won the silver medal.

Since the 2009/10 season Noens can regularly score in the World Cup. After her first top 20 results they drove on 12 January 2010 as the eighth of the slalom in Flachau for the first time into the top ten. At the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010 she remained in 29th place but behind their World Cup results. At the end of the 2010 season, it was the first time French Champion in slalom. After three sixth places at the start of the 2010/11 season Noens drove on 11 January 2011 in the slalom in Flachau at # 3 and achieved their first World Cup podium. At the World Championships 2011 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen she was named best French Ninth in their specialized discipline.

Similar results as in the previous Noens scored in the World Cup season 2011/12. She ran the fastest five times ten, with their best result was a fourth place in Soldeu. At season's end, she was French Champion in slalom and super combined.
