Näsviken, Strömsund

Näsviken is a place ( tätort ) in the congregation Strömsund in the northwest of the Swedish province of Jämtland County and the historic county of Jämtland.

The town lies on the opposite bank of the lake Strömsund Ströms Vattudal, which is fed by the river Faxälven. Since 1956, the two places by 332 m long Strömsundbrücke are interconnected. The European Route 45 runs through Näsviken.

The inhabitants of the town's development is declining, so it is questionable whether the next 2015 census, the category Tätort can still be achieved. This category provides for at least 200 inhabitants.
