Natalia Zhukova

Natalia Zhukova (Ukrainian Наталя Жукова; born June 5, 1979 in Dresden), writing at the World Chess Federation FIDE Natalia Zhukova, is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster.

Life

She is married to the Grand Master Alexander Grishchuk. The couple has a daughter (* 2007) and lives in Odessa and Moscow.

Chess success

Individual successes

She was in Szombathely Youth U14 European Champion, 1994 Herculane Băile in Romanian Youth European Championships U16 in 1993. In the same year she was in Szeged Youth World Champion U16. She was the youngest participant shared the first Ukrainian woman Individual Championship 1996. In 1998, she won tournaments in Belgrade and Groningen, 1999, the EU Championship in Nova Gorica.
