Little Girl, Big Heart ( Original title: National Velvet) is an American feature from director Clarence Brown from 1944 Filmed from the film studio MGM classic family film based on the novel Velvet, the girl with the horse ( National Velvet) by Enid Bagnold. . The screenplay was written by Helen German. The main characters are Elizabeth Taylor, who plays Velvet Brown, and Mickey Rooney, who Mi Taylor embodies. Monty Roberts stood in for Liz Taylor.
Content
"Little Girl, Big Heart " is about a twelve year old girl named Velvet Brown, who wins a horse in the municipal lottery. Velvet would like to participate with this horse, that is pie in the largest Steeplechase Grand National, an obstacle course for horses in England. Background
To the film rights to Enid Bagnolds Bestsellers had in 1935 Pandro S. Berman ( RKO Pictures ) effort, which sought to fill the role of Velvet with Katharine Hepburn.
