Nayef Rajoub

Nayef Radschub (Arabic نايف الرجوب, DMG Nayif ar - Raǧūb, also: Nayef Rajoub; * 1958 Hebron ) is a Palestinian politician ( Hamas) and Minister of Religious Affairs. His older brother Jibril Radschub is a member of Fatah.

Life

Nayef Radschub is from January 2006 Member of the Palestinian Legislative Council. On 29 June 2006, he was " Operation Summer Rains " arrested by Israel as part of the order to be exchanged for the kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit.

On June 20, 2010 Nayef Radschub was released from prison. "After the kidnapping of Shalit in June 2006, Israel had arrested more than 60 Hamas representatives in the West Bank. Among them were numerous parliamentarians. Currently there are nine MPs in Israeli custody, " reports the Christian media association for CEP belonging Israel network.
