Neal Maupay (ca. 2013)

Neal Maupay ( born August 14, 1996, Versailles ) is a French football player with Argentine roots. He is currently the French first division club OGC Nice under contract.

Career

Association

Neal Maupay played in his childhood, from 2002 to 2007 when unterklassigen U.S. Valbonne, before he moved to the youth department of the French professional association OGC Nice. A few days after his 16th birthday he first came for the fifth rate second team of the club used. On September 15, 2012 will be followed debut in Ligue 1 this he was at the age of 16 years and 32 days to the third youngest player in the league history. Three months later, he scored on matchday 18 against FC Evian Thonon Gaillard 's 3-2 winning goal in stoppage time his first Profitor. As the second youngest scorer of the competition he went down in history. Maupay completed 2012/13 competitions 19 games for Nice's first team before he incurred a torn ACL in April 2013.

After a six-month injury break he returned in November 2013 back to the football field and gave his comeback on November 23 for the second team of Nice. Since January 2014 he is also in the pros back on the court.

National

Maupay played so far for the French U -16 and U-17 selections. For the U-16, he completed 2011-2012 13 games in which he scored six goals. Since 2012 he joined the line-up of the U -17.
