Nemanja Vidić ( Serbian Cyrillic Немања Видић; born October 21, 1981 in Titovo Užice, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player who plays in the English Premier League with Manchester United, and is a former captain of the Serbian national football team. Club career

Red Star Belgrade

Nemanja Vidić moved to Sloboda Užice in his youth by the youth department of the Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade, where he spent four years. His professional debut was in 2000. With Red Star he won in 2002 and 2004 both the Championship and the Serbian Cup.

Spartak Moscow

Following the resignation of Savo Milošević, he was the second captain of the national team. As a result of failing to qualify for the 2012 European Vidić resigned from the national team.
