Nenad Jestrović

Nenad Jestrović ( serb - cyrillic: . Ненад Јестровић; born May 19, 1976 in Obrenovac ) is a former Serbian football player.

Career

In youth Jestrović played with FK Radnički Obrenovac. His professional career began in the 1994/95 season at OFK Belgrade. He was top scorer of the Jupiler League in the 2004/05 season with 18 goals, one of which he scored the most hits with free kicks and penalties. During his time at RSC Anderlecht Jestrović was often injured. He was expelled from a UEFA Champions League game for racist comments ( in November 2005) and was subsequently convicted of his club RSC Anderlecht.

In January 2006 he moved to the United Arab Emirates to Al Ain Club. 2007 was followed by a spell at Al -Nasr Sports Club Dubai, before returning to the 2007/08 season to Europe to Red Star Belgrade. In the 2008 /09 season he played for the Turkish first division club Kocaelispor and the Ligue 1 club FC Metz. In the summer of 2009, he finished his career.
