Neratovice

The city Neratovice (German Neratowitz ) located in the Czech Republic in the Central Bohemian Labe region about 20 kilometers north of Prague in Okres Melnik. It lies opposite the mouth of the creek Košátecký into the Elbe at an altitude of 170 meters above sea level. NN and currently has about 16,500 inhabitants.

History

Neratovice

Since the Chalcolithic period, the area was inhabited continuously. A first written mention dates back to 1227th At that time Neratowitz belonged to the place Lobkowitz ( Lobkovice ).

Neratovice is grown mainly by the railway connection. 1865 rail traffic between Kralup on the Vltava ( Kralupy nad Vltavou ) to Turnau ( Turnov ) was added. Lobkovice

Lobkovice ( German Lobkowitz ) is located southeast of the edge of the city with preserved village center. At the beginning of the 14th century it was a small place that Nicholas the arms of Újezd ​​( Mikuláš z Chudý Újezda ) bought. He united with Libisch ( Libiš ) and Obříství. They became his first basic rule, which he later called Hassenstein Lobkowicz ( Lobkowitz Hasištejnský z ). He was the founder of one of the most important aristocratic families in Bohemia. In the village a castle was built in 1679. Configured it was by Antonio della Porta. The castle was sold in 1829, 1897 but bought back again for reasons of prestige.
