Nerestce

Nerestce ( German Nerestetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers southwest of Mirovice and belongs to Okres Pisek.

Geography

Nerestce located on both sides of Skalice in the Central Bohemian hills. Dolni Nerestce is on the left side and right side of the river Horni Nerestce. East of the township the state highway runs I / 4 between Prague and Strakonice, by Horni Nerestce leads the railway line Protivín - Zdice. Southeast rise of Pahorek (456 m) and the Na Doubravici ( 466 m), in the southwest, the hora ( 522 m) and the Jezvinec ( 545 m ) and west of Hradec ( 477 m).

History

Archaeological finds on the castle grounds evidence of a settlement of the left bank since the 8th and 9th centuries.

The first written mention of the village located in the province of Bolzano Nerestce took place in 1227 as a possession of the monastery of St. George at Prague Castle. There are various interpretations for the origin of the place name. Until the beginning of the 17th century are in the written records no distinction between Dolni Nerestce and Horni Nerestce. The farm Horni Nerestce was first mentioned in 1605 as the property of Christoph Günther von Moren. The Good ( Dolni ) Nerestce or Čimelické Nerestce was always associated with the rule Čimelice since 1719, Horni Nerestce or Orlické Nerestce was among the possessions of the rule Worlik. Owner of both villages had since 1850, the princes of Schwarzenberg.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dolni Nerestce and Horni Nerestce were from 1850 onwards districts of different communities in the District Commission Pisek and the judicial district of Miro Vice. Between 1874 and 1876 the railway line Protivín - Zdice arose. Dolni Nerestce was until 1874 a district of Čimelice and then formed a separate municipality. Horni Nerestce broke up in 1894 by Kakovice going on and also formed a community. In 1919, both villages merged to form community Nerestce.

Nerestce was incorporated on April 1, 1976 by ​​Horosedly and on 1 January 1983 together with it by Miro Vice. Both districts dissolved on November 24 again in 1990 by Miro vice going on and joined together again to the community Nerestce.

Attractions

  • Castle Dolni Nerestce, which had existed since the 13th century fortress was transformed by the Knights of Deym Střitetz a Renaissance chateau in the 16th century.   • Three-arched stone bridge over the Skalice, they received their present shape in the Empire style 1814. On the 6 m wide bridge are statues of Sts.
