Neuwied (electoral district)

The constituency Neuwied (2005: Constituency 199, 2009: Constituency 198 ) is a federal electoral district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It includes the districts of Neuwied and old churches (Westerwald ).

The 2013 federal election was held on Sunday, September 22, 2013, instead.

There were 14 parties in Rhineland -Palatinate nationwide against each other. This was decided by the National Election Committee at a public meeting on July 26, 2013 in Mainz. To ensure that all parties were given an authorization that had timely filed their country lists and other documents until July 15.

The order of the approved country lists on the ballot is initially guided by the number of second votes that has reached the respective party at the last general election in the country ( list positions 1 - 10 ): CDU, SPD, FDP, Greens, The Left, PIRATES, NPD, REP, ODP and MLPD. New nominee lists include in alphabetical order of their names on ( list positions 11-14 ): Alternative for Germany ( AfD ), civil rights movement per Germany (per Germany ), Free Voters and the party of reason.

Sabine Bätzing - Lichtenthäler was able to move about the SPD state list ( 3rd place) in the Bundestag.

2009 federal election

In the federal election 2009 242.568 inhabitants were eligible to vote, the voter turnout was 71.2 percent and had the following result:

Sabine Bätzing (SPD ) and Elke Hoff ( FDP) are fed through the respective regional lists in the Bundestag.
