New Song is an American Christian -music band from Valdosta, Georgia.

Band History

The band was founded in 1981 by Eddie Carswell, Billy Goodwin, Eddie Middleton, and Bobby Apon. In the early years, they released albums regularly and changed several times the label. Until the mid- 90s they had established itself in the field of Christian pop music and were fixed to the program of the relevant radio stations. Not even the separation of Middleton and Apon changed nothing. From 1993, followed by numerous line-up changes, only Carswell and Goodwin were consistently the band.
