Newport (Shropshire)

Newport is a market town in the Borough Telford and Wrekin and ceremonial county of Shropshire in England. It is located 9.7 km north of Telford and 19 km west of Stafford. The population is 15,828.

Awards

The city won the Britain in Bloom competition horticulture with gold-plated silver and was the first place in England, six times in succession won the Heart of England Gold Award.
