Nic Roldan

Nicolas " Nic " Roldan ( born December 4, 1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an American professional polo player with a handicap of 9, he is one of the best players in the world and is considered the best American player.

Roldan was born as the son of an Argentine father and a German in Buenos Aires and grew up in Wellington ( Florida). He has both an Argentine, as well as an American and a German passport.

1990, just 8 years, he played his first game of polo. Roldan was the youngest player of U.S. Open Polo Championship was the win, then he was 15 years old.

In addition to the Polo he has worked since 2009 for the Wilhelmina modeling agency and is the brand ambassador of Piaget. 2009 appointed him the magazine Vanity Fair under the ten hottest polo players in the world.

Nic's father, Raul Roldan, was also a professional polo and played for many years in the team of the Sultan of Brunei.

  • He played for Tupungato in New York and Orchard Hill in Aiken Certified.
  • He was captain of Prince Harry's charity team, Sentebale on Governors Iceland.

  • He represented the U.S. at the Westchester Cup against England.
  • His handicap is increased to 9.
  • The Vanity Fair magazine voted him one of the ten hottest polo players in the world.
  • He signed a contract with the modeling agency Wilhelmina.

2007

  • Winning the Camara of Deputies of Argentina.
  • His handicap is increased to 8.

2005

  • His handicap is increased to 7.

2004

  • Winning the Melbourne Cup in Australia.

2001

  • Winning the bronze and gold cups in Sotto Grande, Spain.
