Action

Chuck Lumley worked on Wall Street as a broker, but he is dissatisfied with his job. Lumley finds new work in the New York morgue. The night shift, where it is assigned, so that the day shift can take a relative of the chief, who spends his working hours with the remote shows.

Lumley learns during the night shift Bill Blazejowski know who has numerous business ideas. Meanwhile, deep trouble his relationship with Charlotte Koogle, with whom he is engaged. Janet Maslin wrote in the New York Times of 30 July 1982, the film was " reasonably funny " - he had good gags in the first half and serious problems in the second half. Ron Howard and the debuting Michael Keaton were the "real discovery " of the film.

Movie service wrote that the film is largely a " lively comedy about the development of a man from the hypocrite for self-conscious contemporaries ". He offers " up to a few moments plate enjoyable entertainment."

Awards

Henry Winkler was in 1983 for Best Actor - Comedy or Musical nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Michael Keaton won the 1983 Kansas City Film Critics Circle Award.
