Nightmare Ned

Ned's evil bedtime stories ( original English title Nightmare Ned ) is an American Disney animated series that was produced under the direction of Donovan Cook in 1997.

Action

The eight- year-old boy Ned Needlemeyer is imaginative, but also a veritable bundle of nerves and is therefore often badgered by his two classmates and Conrad Vernon. Everyday situations experienced by Ned during the day, he works in every episode at night in a nightmare.

Main characters

• Ned Needlemeyer is the protagonist of the show. He wears glasses, is jumpy and gets bullied by his classmates and Conrad Vernon.
• Mom Needlemeyer is Ned's mother and brings the only one in the family understanding of Ned's nightmares to.
• Ed Needlemeyer is Ned's father and tries to help him with his problems, but often fails.
• Amy Needlemeyer is Ned's little sister and a baby.

Production and publication

The series was produced in 1997 by Walt Disney Television Animation directed by Donovan Cook from a screenplay by Ralph Soll. The music by Steve Bartek. The ABC beamed from the 25 episodes from April 19, 1997 in United States.

The series has been translated into Portuguese, among other things, a German version that aired from 25 July 1998 by Super RTL.
