Norair Aslanyan

Norair Mamedov (born 25 March 1991) is a Dutch football player of Armenian descent, who is under contract at FC Groningen.

Career

Norair Mamedov fled with his parents, members of the Armenian minority in the 1990s from Azerbaijan to the Netherlands. Even in his old home he had played football in the street. After brief stays in various asylum seekers lodging the family stayed on in the asylum center in the Frisian Burgum; Norair Mamedov began in the e- Youth of the VV Bergum with organized football game. Scouts from professional clubs were aware of the talent. In a tournament saw him in charge of PSV Eindhoven, but did not require the same twelve year old because his asylum status was not yet clear. They gave him, however, in the youth department of FC Groningen in the nearby provincial capital. Here went through the offensive player who feels on the flanks as well as center-forward or hanging tip, the other vintages and became so good that he has already borrowed as A youth player at the second division club BV Veendam; but here he was only the second team to use.

In the 2010/11 season he played in the second team of Groningen, Jong FC Groningen, but was shut down in October for games of SC Cambuur working together in the youth field with FC Groningen. Here he gave on 15 October 2010 his professional debut in the home game against RKC Waalwijk, as coach Stanley Menzo einwechselte him in the 78th minute. After seven missions without scoring - but with an " Assist" - in the second division brought him the FC Groningen back in the winter break. Mamedov has now been taken equal to the Erstligakader. As at FC Groningen in early March several players - including Tim Matavž - turned out injured, Norair Mamedov came on March 6, 2011 on its first use in the Eredivisie, which in the course of the season four others followed.
