Northern Administrative Okrug
The Northern Administrative District (Russian Северный административный округ / Severny administratiwny okrug ) is one of twelve administrative districts of the Russian capital Moscow.
Location
The North County is located on the northern outskirts of the city of Moscow.
Description
The North County contains 16 neighborhoods. In the administrative area of more than one million people live. The population density of the district is above the average for all districts.
The international airport Sheremetyevo counts even though located outside the city limits, officially the territory of the Northern District.
