Nueva Paz

Nueva Paz is a municipality and a city in the Cuban province of Mayabeque. By 2010, the municipality belonged to the defunct province of La Habana.

The city is located south of Madruga and east of San Nicolás de Bari. The settlement was officially founded in 1802.

The municipality counts 24,277 inhabitants in an area of 515 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 47.1 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The municipality is divided into eight neighborhoods ( Barrio ): Bagáez, Ciudad, Jagua, Navarra, Palos, San Luis, Vegas and Yaya.
