Nuremberg snouts - Stories from the Franken- Zoo is a television series of the ZDF, the main actors are the keepers and animals of the Nuremberg Zoo. It is broadcast in several seasons since 2008. Shooting began was in January 2007, the work of the first season lasted until the beginning of April.

The staff, animals and visitors are accompanied in their everyday lives. The focus is on stories of human and animal fates. In contrast to animal documentation does not tell a detached comment history, but the various protagonists take on this task. They even comment out of their situation, the work processes and experiences. The audience will also learn to know, whether about the life and behavior habits of animals, their claims to housing, employment and food or on current issues of modern zoo zoology.
