The municipality Upper Aller is a town in the district Borde in Saxony -Anhalt.

The municipality is situated on the eponymous all.

Member communities

The municipality Upper Aller has the following seven member communities:

History

The municipality was founded on 1 January 2010, the Management Community Upper Aller was thereby dissolved. Since unitary councils may have a maximum of eight member communities with at least 1,000 inhabitants, there was the same day the following groupings:

  • Incorporation of the communities Barneberg ( 734 inhabitants) and Wackersleben (707 inhabitants) whose population increased in the community Hötensleben from 2,554 to 3,995
  • Incorporation of the municipality Marie Born ( 504 inhabitants) in the community, summer village, whose population increased from 1,030 to 1,534
  • Incorporation of the municipality Wormsdorf ( 529 inhabitants) whose population increased in the community Eilsleben, of 2,180 to 2,709

On 1 September 2010, the municipalities Drackenstedt, Druxberge and Ovelgünne were incorporated into the community Eilsleben by law.

The population figures given relate to the date of December 31, 2008.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on 19 October 2010 by the county.

Blazon: " A blue edge golden brick with attached in the form of a cross beam blue wave bar, above the wave bar in silver blue hammer and chisel underneath with black joints strokes that flank covered with a golden ear of corn with two Halmblättern. "

The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg heraldist Jörg Mantzsch.

Flag

The flag is blue - white ( 1:1) striped ( cross- shape: strips horizontally extending, longitudinal shape: strip running vertically ) and the center occupied by the municipality coat of arms.

Traffic

By municipality area, the federal roads lead 245, 245a and 246a. There are also railway stations in the railway Brunswick- Magdeburg in Marie Born, Wefensleben, Eilsleben, Ovelgünne and Drackenstedt. In Völpke was a station of the now disused railway line Eilsleben - Schoningen.
