Odon Marie Arsène Razanakolona

Odon Marie Arsène Razanakolona ( born May 24, 1946 in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar ) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop of Antananarivo.

Life

Odon Marie Arsène Razanakolona received on 28 December 1975, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On November 28, 1998, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Ambanja. The episcopal ordination took place on 11 April 1999. Razanakolona was on 7 December 2005 by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed Archbishop of Antananarivo.

Since the Archdiocese of Antananarivo is traditionally connected with the cardinal bishopric, Razanakolona be considered potential candidates for the dignity of Cardinal.

Razanakolona was on 23 September 2009 by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed a member of the Second Special Assembly of the Synod of Bishops for Africa ( 4 to 25 October 2009).
