Ogrody, Greater Poland Voivodeship

Ogrody ( German New Garte or Garthe, Polish earlier Nowe Ogrody ) is a village in Poland in the Wielkopolska Region. The village belongs to the municipality Swieciechowa in powiat Leszczynski and is part of the Office Schulz Lasocice.

History

The first mention of today's Ogrody dates from 1421. During the year the town was the seat of a parish belonged to which Lasocice, Strzyżewice, Przybyszewo and Trzebiny. The parish was dissolved in the 16th century and on 15 May 1675 area fell to Schwetzkau ( Swieciechowa ). Between 1926 and 1944, was the site for Good in Przybyszewo, today (2011 ) include the agricultural land to a farm from Przybyszewo.

Economy and infrastructure

The village is situated on a side street between Swieciechowa and Lasocice. A rail connection does not exist.
