Ole Olsen (comedian)
John Siguard " Ole " Olsen ( born November 6, 1892 in Peru, Indiana, † January 26, 1963 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) was an American comedian, actor and author. He is known primarily as a stage and film partner of Chic Johnson.
Life
1912 Ole Olsen concluded his musical studies at Northwestern University and began in the vaudeville scene to look. There he met Chic Johnson in 1914 when they played in the same band.
They appeared for the first time in 1914 in Chicago together as Olsen and Johnson, and continued this collaboration continues so long had to stop due to illness until the end of the 50s Chic Johnson.
Ole Olsen was married twice. With his first wife Lillian had three children: JC, Joy and Moya, who married the Learjet - founder William P. Lear. In 1961, he married Eileen Maria Osthoff.
