Olga Rypakova

Olga Sergejewna Rypakowa, born Alekseeva (Russian Ольга Сергеевна Рыпакова ( Алексеева ), English transcription Olga Rypakova; . Born November 30, 1984 in Ust- Kamenogorsk, Kazakh SSR, USSR) is a Kazakh long and triple jumper of Russian origin.

She began her athletic career as a heptathlete and was runner-up in this event in 2002 Junior World Champion. In 2006 she was at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow seventh in the pentathlon and won at the Asian Games 2006 gold in heptathlon and bronze in the long jump.

Since the 2007 season, it is limited to the two jumping events. At the Track Asian Championships in Amman, she won gold in the long and triple jump, at the Universiade gold in the long jump, and at the World Championships in Osaka, she was eleventh in the triple jump.

In 2008 she was fourth in the triple jump respectively the World Indoor Championships in Valencia and at the Olympic Games in Beijing. In the Olympic long jump competition she was eliminated in the qualifying.

The following year she was in the triple jump ten at the World Championships in Berlin and again in Asia champion. In 2010 she won the title in the triple jump at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and won at the Asian Games in Guangzhou gold in the triple jump and silver in the long jump. 2012 Olga Rypakowa won Olympic gold in the triple jump.

Rypakowa was Kazakh champion in the long jump in 2005, 2008 and 2011, in the triple jump in 2008 and 2011 as well as in the heptathlon in 2006.

Personal

Olga Rypakowa since 2004 with the former 400 -meter runner Denis Rypakow, silver medalist at the Summer Universiade in 2003, married and has a daughter (* 2004).
