Olgiate Molgora is a municipality in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy with 6267 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Geography
Olgiate Molgora is located about 13 km south of the provincial capital of Lecco and 35 km north-east of the metropolis of Milan.
The neighboring municipalities are Airuno, Brivio, Calco, Colle Brianza, Merate, Monte Vecchia, Rovagnate and Santa Maria Hoè.
History
Individual districts date back to Roman times. The main town is probably Olgiate Lombard or Frankish origin.
