Óliver Torres ( 2012)

Óliver Torres Muñoz, known as Óliver (born 10 November 1994 Navalmoral de la Mata ), is a Spanish footballer who is currently under contract with Atlético Madrid, but playing on loan at FC Villarreal. His preferred position is attacking midfield.

Career

Óliver started his career with Atlético Madrid, for its youth teams he played from 2008. From the 2012/13 season, he was part of the squad of the second team, with whom he played in the Segunda División B. On August 20, 2013, came his first appearance in La Liga when he came off the bench in the match against Levante UD. He scored his first goal on October 27, 2013 during match against Betis Sevilla.

On January 31, 2014 Torres on loan until the end of the 2013/14 season at Villarreal. After he failed initially due to a shoulder injury, he made his debut on March 2, 2014 home game against Real Betis, when he came off the bench for the second half.

Óliver Torres played in several Spanish national youth teams, where he became European Champion in Estonia with the U-19 national team in 2012. He currently plays for the Spanish U- 21 team.
