Olivier Schoenfelder

Olivier Schoenfelder ( born November 30, 1977 in Belfort, Franche -Comté ) is a former French figure skater who started ice dancing.

Schoenfelder began at the age of seven years with the ice skating. His Eistanzpartnerin was Isabelle Delobel. They came together in 1990 at a training camp and thus followed a council of former Eistanzweltmeister Moiseyeva Irina and Andrei Minenkov. Delobel and Schoenfelder were trained in Lyon by Muriel Zazoui and Romain Haguenau.

The French champions from 2003 to 2008 participated in the period from 1998 to 2008 all world championships and with the exception of 2002 in all European Championships. In European Championships she won the bronze medal in 2005 and 2008, the silver medal. In 2007 she became European champion in Warsaw. At the World Championships she won a medal. In Gothenburg they won in 2008 in their last World Cup gold medal. In the 2008/2009 season they won the Grand Prix Final. Delobel and Schoenfelder participated in three Olympic Games. In 2002, she occupied the sixteenth, 2006 and 2010, the fourth to sixth place. In 2010, despite injuries and pregnancy of Delobel returned again for the Olympic Games, after they announced their final retirement from competitive sport.

Schoenfelder studied journalism and worked a few times as a television commentator. In 2005 he married Isabelle Pecheur. The couple had a son in 2006. Schoenfelder works as a trainer in Lyon.
