Ombúes de Lavalle is a city in southwestern Uruguay.

Geography

The city lies at an altitude of 119 meters above sea level, in the area of ​​Colonia Department in its sector 11 It is located in, about halfway between the western city of Nueva Palmira and located in the eastern city of Florencio Sánchez. In a southeasterly direction Miguelete is located. A few kilometers north of Ombúes de Lavalle is the boundary to the Department of Soriano. To the south is the capital of the department of Colonia del Sacramento.

History
