P.A. Works

K. K. P. A. Works (Japanese株式会社 ピー エー ワークス, Kabushiki - gaisha pi E Wākusu, Eng. PA Works Corporation, short for Progressive Animation Works) is a Japanese animation studio and is headquartered in Nanto, Toyama Prefecture, Japan.

History

The studio was on 10 November 2000 by Kenji Horikawa, a former employee of Production IG and Bee Train, under the name Etchu Doga Hompo KK (越 中 动画 本 铺 株式会社) was founded. On 1 January 2002, the studio was to P. A. Works renamed. Since then, it has always been involved in the first-mentioned productions studios as contractor and steered animations to computer games at. In January 2008, the studio produced its first independent series true tears. Since then, it produced successful series such as Canaan (2009) or Angel Beats! (2010).
