Pamela Jiles
Pamela Jiles ( Pamela Theresa " Pam " Jiles; * July 10, 1955 in New Orleans) is a former American sprinter.
At the Pan American Games in 1975 in Mexico City, she won gold in the 100 m and silver over 200 meters.
The following year, she missed at the U.S. elimination fights for the Olympic Games in Montreal as each Fourth over 100 m and 200 m just taking part in a single competition. Instead, she competed in the Olympic 4 x 400 - meter relay and won with the U.S. team in the cast Debra Sapenter, Sheila Ingram, Jiles and Rosalyn Bryant the silver medal in 3:22,81 minutes behind the GDR relay, which established 3:19,23 min with a world record.
