Sheila Ingram

Sheila Ingram ( Sheila Rena Ingram, born March 23, 1957 in Washington, DC) is a former American sprinter.

In 1976 it was U.S. Vice- champion in the 400 m and won over the same distance in the U.S. eliminator for the Olympic Games in Montreal. There they put in the quarterfinals and in the semifinals with 51.31 s and 50.90 s on U.S. records that were in the parallel runs, but broken by their Mannschaftskolleginnnen Debra Sapenter and Rosalyn Bryant. In the final, she was with 50,90 s sixth. In the 4 x 400 - meter relay team, she won the U.S. team in the cast Sapenter, Ingram, Pamela Jiles Bryant and the silver medal in 3:22,81 minutes behind the GDR relay which, with 3:19 23 min a world record.
