Parramatta Power SC
Parramatta Power was an Australian football team from Parramatta in the west of Sydney. The club was called by the Parramatta Leagues Club, to which the traditional Rugby League team Parramatta Eels heard in 1999.
The team was part of the 1999/2000 season until the dissolution of the League of the 2004 National Soccer League ( NSL). 2003/ 04 the team of Australian runner-up was behind Perth Glory. After the introduction of the A-League as the new top flight in Australia, was not taken in Parramatta, the club was eventually terminated due to lack of financial viability. Among the well-known coaches of the club was the German-born former international Australia Manfred Schäfer.
