Pasing Arcaden

The Pasing Arcade is a shopping center in Munich's Pasing. The first phase of the Pasing Arcade was opened on 15 March 2011 and is located in close proximity to Pasing station west of Munich. The main entrance on Pasinger Station Square opens up the 270 meter long building of the first section. This complex has a total area of 26,000 square meters and offers 14,000 m² of space for 90 shops and boutiques. Thus, the Pasing Arcade the fourth major shopping center in Munich - next to the shopping center Neuperlach - pep, the Olympia shopping center and the Riem Arcades. On February 18, 2013, the second phase with 50 other shops and 11 catering establishments was opened on further 37,000 m², with Giovanni Trapattoni as a special guest.

The building was designed by Munich architects Allmann Sattler Steelers. The floor plan should resemble a cruise ship. The façade was designed with metal diamonds and the side of the building adjacent to the tracks of the railway line Pasing -Hauptbahnhof, was designed slightly curved. Along the tracks, the building is about 20 meters high, with opposite longitudinal side measures only about ten meters in height. This difference is caused by the 45 three-to five -room apartments, which were built over the Pasing Arcade: You were rising obliquely placed in blocks on the roof. Between these blocks are larger terraces, which have been planted and the tenants are available. In addition, areas of services were planned. The shopping streets in the interior of the mall do not run straight but meander through the building. The facades of the shops will be designed by the tenants themselves. Under the complex is a two-storey underground car park with 660 parking spaces.

Behind the Pasing Arcade same investor as it is behind the Riem Arcades: mfi Management für Immobilien AG, Essen. The first phase of construction cost 190 million euros. The schedule for the project was delayed, as had to be interrupted between 2008 and 2009 because of a dispute with a neighbor, the construction work.
