Pasquale Borgomeo

Pasquale Borgomeo SJ ( born March 20, 1933, Naples, † July 2, 2009 in Rome ) was an Italian Jesuit priest and journalist. He became known as a general manager and director of Vatican Radio.

Life

Pasquale Borgomeo studied philosophy, literature and theology. At the Sorbonne, he received his doctorate with the literary work L' Eglise de ce temps dans la predication de St. Augustin. In 1970 he became Head into the editor at Radio Vatican. In 1983 he was program director; In 1985 he was appointed by Pope John Paul II to the General Manager and Artistic Director.
