Patrick DesRochers

Patrick Joseph DesRochers ( born October 27, 1979 in Penetanguishene, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender hockey league has a contract with EC Dornbirn at Erste Bank since July 2012.

Career

Patrick DesRochers began his professional career in 1999 in the American Hockey League with the Springfield Falcons after he had previously been considered by the Phoenix Coyotes in the NHL Entry Draft in 1998 at 14th overall position. He spent four years at the club and still holds the club record for most internal games played. From 2003, he moved between various teams in the minor leagues of North America, but never managed despite isolated inserts the jump to the National Hockey League.

After a year break, he moved to Europe in 2006 and first ran for the ETC Crimmitschau in 2nd hockey Bundesliga before brought him the Augsburger Panther in the German Hockey League. After a few successful years, he joined the Norwegian GET - ligaen; with the local top club Vålerenga IF Oslo he could win the title of the Norwegian champion in the 2008 /09 season.

After four seasons brought him in 2012 the Austrian neo- Erstligist EC Dornbirn on board.
