Patrick Mouaya

Patrick Mouaya (born 6 July 1985 in Brazzaville, People's Republic of Congo ) is a German footballer of Congolese origin, currently has a contract with Halle FC.

Career

Mouaya was in the People's Republic of the Congo (now Congo) was born and played until 2006 at the Club Saint Michel d' Ouenzé in his home town of Brazzaville.

In 2006, he finally went along with his countryman and former teammate Francky Sembolo to Germany. There, both hired at the then Oberliga FC Oberneuland in Bremen. In 2008 he received his first cap for the national football team of the Congo and also had a use during the DFB Cup 2008/09.

Finally, the Halle FC was, at that time a league club, pay attention to the defender, so Mouaya 2009 moved to Saxony- Anhalt. There he soon was able to prevail and completed in his first season for the Halle 26 games in which he also scored a goal. As a result, he became the regular at the Saale city dwellers. After several seasons of the HFC graduated with a placement in the top ranks, finally succeeded in the 2011/12 season promotion to the third division. Mouaya stood in the promotion season in 28 of 34 games from the start on the course.

In his first third league season Mouaya had to vacate his place for the season opener at first, this position was reconquered after a few game days. However, on 15 Matchday he suffered a serious injury when he himself in a duel with Adriano Grimaldi from VfL Osnabrück broke his leg and had to pause for half a year.

Mouaya came to the end of the season to no more inserts, but was extended in hall his contract for the 2013/14 season to give him a chance to old services to return again. On January 24, 2014 Mouaya were in the 3-0 away win at Wehen his comeback. Since then, he heard again the constant array of Halle.

Private

In addition to his football playing career Mouaya trained as an insurance salesman, is married and father of two children.

In February 2014 Mouaya became a German citizen. He thus lost his Congolese passport.
