Patrick Wymark
Patrick Wymark origin. Patrick Carl Cheeseman ( born July 11, 1926 in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, † October 20, 1970 in Melbourne, Australia) was a British actor.
Patrick Wymark received his acting training at the Old Vic Theatre School in London and made his stage debut in 1951. During the 1950s he was a member of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford- upon- Avon. In addition to numerous Shakespearean roles he played here the title role in Danton's Death by Georg Büchner. His film and television career began in the mid-1950s. Overall, he starred in 48 film and television productions.
Wymark named after his father William Wymark Jacobs. He was married to the playwright Olwen Wymark ( 1932-2013 ). Both had four children together, including actress Jane Wymark. Wymark died at the age of 44 years to a heart attack, three days before the theatrical premiere of revenge by Anthony Shaffer, in which he was involved. He was found dead in his hotel room.
