Patrizia Kummer

Patrizia Kummer ( born October 16, 1987 in mill creek ) is a Swiss snowboarder.

Career

Sporting career

Since the season 1999/2000 Kummer in races. In 2003 she was at the age of 15 years at their first Elite Swiss Championship runner-up in the parallel slalom. They won up to today 3 Swiss championship title and once she was ranked as third parties. You could save 5 Swiss Champion title at the Junior Women. In the Snowboard World Cup 2009 she surprisingly won the bronze medal in the parallel giant slalom. The first World Cup victory of her career could win sorrow in Limone Piemonte on December 11, 2010 in a parallel slalom.

In the season 2011/12 they won the overall World Cup and the discipline rating in the parallel slalom and celebrated its biggest-ever success of her career so far. This came about by grief could win 5 of the 11 World Cup races and additionally pull out a 2nd place.

The World Cup opener this season was able to complete very good grief with a 1st place in the parallel giant slalom and a 6th place in the parallel slalom. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, she won the gold medal in the parallel giant slalom.

Except Sporting career

In addition to the sports Patrizia Kummer graduated from 2003-2008 successfully Sportmittelschule HSK- M in Brig College Spiritus Sanctus and graduated with a diploma in commerce and the Federal Matura. She completed a correspondence course in psychology in 2013 at the Open University Switzerland successfully.
